| I'm on my third set. 1st set: Stupid loud. Set up by an experienced shop in St. Louis. Replaced under warranty 2nd set: a tad quieter, but still somewhat annoying on road trips. Set up by a local shop here in Dallas. Replaced under warranty. 3rd set: Shipped my diff to Greg Dupree to have them set up by his diff guy. A tad quieter, but still annoying on long road trips. I give up. Some people claim they can be as quiet as stock. I wonder if they're deaf, or maybe I've run across three incompetent diff guys in a row. I've spent over $1000 in setup and shipping charges, plus the cost of the gears. Props to Mark Leader for all the help with warranty, etc. I just don't understand why after 3 tries I don't have a set of quiet gears. The performance benefit is awesome. I think it makes a bigger difference on big turbo'd cars. Makes the car feel lighter and snappier. Just wish they were as quiet as stock. I don't like my gear noise competing with my exhaust.
